MLA & APA Research Guides

This guide is a connection to library resources and formatting materials for students staff and faculty at Barstow Community College. While MLA formatting is the standard for many English classes at Barstow Community College and many California Community Colleges, APA is the standard used for the Social sciences and business majors and future University undergraduates.

This Libguides Research section provides navigation to various standards for each formatting type.

If you have questions regarding academic research please email the library at library@barstow.edu

If you have library questions regarding this guide or standards in APA or MLA formatting please email the guide creator at: jmacomber@barstow.edu

if you need tutoring with MLA or APA formatting you can email the Teaching and Learning Support Center at: TLSC@barstow.edu

Make sure you know which format your instructor is requiring.
