Below is a list of some of the Tribal Nations in the United States. There are over 500 Federally recognized Tribal Nations in the United States,109 of which are in California. There are roughly 400 unrecognized tribal nations in the United States, over 50 of which are in California. Please note, that the list below is not an exhaustive list of the tribal nations within the United States.
