1, Finding an academic article through Google Scholar (REMINDER: Never pay for an academic article!)
Many students don't know that they have access to articles through the library databases and while Google Scholar may be a great place to start not all of the articles will be full pdf or might just be an abstract.
2. When you find an article you want to use, you should copy the citation and list it in your end references.
Be careful of when the article was written since you might not want to use an article that is over 22 years old. For example a subject like social work may undergo a lot of policy changes that may affect the articles in writing.
A reminder not to pay for Pay Per View articles through Google Scholar!
If you find an article you are interested in, you can always ask or email the library.
Many times articles you find on Google Scholar will be available to find through our academic databases.
